We are currently looking for a National Account Manager for an Importer and Distributor of Food to Retailers across the UK. Your role within the company will be to increase sales and maximise profits with National Accounts such as Amazon The Co-Operative and Morrison and work with team members to deliver KPI's.

Your Key Accountabilities will be:
* To obtain incremental listings and distribution within your account working to your agreed KPI's and business plans
* Provide performance, operation, risk reports at monthly sales meetings
* To provide direction and strategies to strengthen trading relationships & support new opportunity identification
* Maximise profitability on all listings (existing & new)
* Develop effective marketing and promotional plans for accounts
* Produce presentations internally and externally in line with the role
* Have good understandings of customers' needs and requirements
* Be an ambassador for your accounts within the organisation
* Secure new business in all retail channels with strategies put in place
* Have detailed understanding of numbers and figures relevant to your area and responsibilities
* Keep databases and contact sheets up to date with all accounts
* Develop a strong understanding of all brands within the organisations portfolio

Ideally you will have:
* The ability to deliver turnover and profit of nominated customers
* Be a team member who supports the business goals
* Be able to build good working relationships with internal departments
* Demonstrate good understanding of customers' requirements
* Keep on top of all aspects of administration
* Develop strong working relationships with business analysts
* Be able to demonstrate skills from previous roles such as Account Manager/National Account Manager/Key Account Manager within the retail sector.
