Manpower Technical is recruiting for an Operations and Maintenance Fleet Manager on behalf of our client located in Nottingham. The role is an ongoing Contract, and based within the Energy Sector.
Key Accountabilities of this role include:
As the Fleet Manager you will represent the client Connecting Energies in small to medium sized energy projects in our client facing On-Site Generation business.
1.Operation and Maintenance Team lead of Fleet engineers around the UK dealing with all daily work load, HR, Call out, general daily requirement associated with Running a service team.
2.Business case investigation, site investigation and operational design for new sites and /or potential existing sites to be validated. Driving from OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE point of view all relevant activities from concept to successful delivery and operation in our business cycle for OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
3.Continuous monitoring and technical management of the connected ECT OSG distributed energy fleet of CHP equipment in UK to business success according to local standards (technical, legislations, laws)
4.Operation of sites on a daily basis and giving support for technical and business improvements on site
5.Using the required tools/applications in best manner for driven performance and fast response.
6.Liaising with contractors (alongside PM in Commissioning) to deliver the required result for equipment operation on time from hand over of commissioning of various LOTS and types of equipment from controls to all OSG installed equipment.
7.Lead in HSSE and SHE (health and safety) implementation processes for operation of the site once handed over to OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
8.Lead for Safety Rules and sign off of works on sites by engineers and contractors.
9.OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE support member of local BID teams (Sales, Project management, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE )
10.liaising with RCC for control of the equipment
11.Working closely with the Contracts Manager, Performance Manager, Compliance manager, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE co-ordinator, Other OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE team members.
12.Reporting to the Head of operations within ECT OSG OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE UK
Desired knowledge and skills include:

*Experience in industrial engineering, electrical engineering or in related fields
*Minimum 10 years' experience in energy equipment related industries in global
*environment with focus of Operation on distributed energy production complete
*plants/sites for CH(P)P sites with gas engines, Cooling, Steam, Heat, auxiliaries..
*Long experience as commissioning and troubleshooting engineer
*Project management skills and tool experience focussed on operation
*Experience in business cases from O&M point of view
*Function as a subject matter expert in all required technical areas
*Critical thinking skills and ability to analyse complex problems
*Maintain strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
*Proactive, self-disciplined and highly/self-motivated with well-organized work
*customer satisfaction and needs driven orientation
*People management skills as Team Leader
*Needs to be able to work constructively with customers and internal
*Fluent in English, other languages could be advantageous (local is required)
*Willingness to local and international travel
*Current and Clean driving licence
Shifts: Full Time.
Salary: £46,000 Per Annum + Benefits such as a company car.
