Manpower Technical is recruiting for an Operations and Maintenance Fleet Engineer on behalf of our client located in Nottingham. The role is an ongoing Contract, and based within the Energy Sector.
Key Accountabilities of this role include:
The Operations and Maintenance Fleet Engineering is responsible for the successful operation and maintenance of the Connecting Energies' On-Site Generation assets.
*Carrying out site specific operation and maintenance duties as per manufactures specification and contractual obligations
*Drive preventative actions to maintain the operation of the plant
*Assist with repairs, overhauls, reactive maintenance and minor installation works on associated plant having due regard to customer care in this specific environment
*Direct contact for global customers and partners to assist in technical cases
*To ensure maximum availability of all plant
*1st / 2nd line fault response including fault finding and resolution
*Involvement in root cause analysis of faults
*Support new plant start-ups / roll out towards all our partners
*Continual development of site operating procedures
*Co-ordination with the Remote Control Centre
*Working with both specialist and general sub-contractors / service partners

*Enacting role in site emergency response procedure and provide diagnosis and repair where required and as required including evenings and weekends
*Issuing and controlling of safety documents and ensure relevant health and safety policy is adhered too.
*Ensuring compliance with site HSSE (Health Safety Security Environment) requirements
*Have an understanding on Permit to Work Systems, and all other relevant Health and Safety requirements
*General upkeep of plant including management of waste
*Complete accurate service documentation from sites works, site paperwork and report diligently to maintain and manage site support spares / stock controlling processes in company CMMS.
Desired knowledge and skills include:

*Relevant qualification in an engineering discipline with electrical and instrumentation bias / electromechanical
*Minimum of 5 years' experience in related field or industry
*Strong knowledge of boiler heating systems, including steam raising plant
*Experience of gas turbines and reciprocating engines a distinct advantage
*Gas Safe Registration beneficial
*Health & safety qualification e.g. IOSH / NEBOSH desirable
*Independent trouble shooting and problem solving skills in stressful situations
*Proactive, self-disciplined and highly motivated with well organised work style
*Ability to work constructively with customers and sub-contractors
*Customer satisfaction and needs driven orientation
*Demonstrate commitment to health and safety of self and others
*Demonstrable experience working with sub-contractors / external parties
*Ability to work unsupervised and function as part of a team
*Willingness to travel, occasionally internationally
*The position requires involvement in a standby Rota
*Any other relevant duties that may be required
*Project a professional image of the client at all times to external and internal colleagues, this is to include clear channels of communication
*Prepare where required and carry out necessary Risk Assessments and Method Statements associated with the maintenance work required on site
*Other tasks as directed by Line Management.
*Driving Licence essential
*Computer literate

Shifts: Full Time. On call every 1-5 weeks
Salary: £39,000 Per Annum + Benefits such as company van and fuel card.
