Customer Service Consultant - Portsmouth

We are the UK's biggest customer services organisation, playing a vital role in ensuring that money is available to fund the UK's public services. We handle up to 50 million customer calls and answer around 15 million items of correspondence every year.
You'll handle incoming telephone calls from our customers, ensuring their query or issue is resolved quickly and efficiently. You'll accurately update our computer systems with a record of the call, and will assist with general administrative duties as required.
You don't need to have any knowledge or experience of tax or any previous work experience for these roles. What's most important is that you have an interest in becoming the voice of HMRC. We're looking for helpful, customer-focused individuals who aren't fazed by a deadline and have a real passion for customer service.

You'll be working five days out of seven, so your working pattern will involve a combination of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
