Manpower are working alongside our Industrial client, a market leader within production within their field. Due to expansion, they are in search of an experienced Project & Process Engineer.

Reporting to the Site Leader, we are looking for the chosen applicant to lead, plan & execute on site projects. This role will be very project management focused, and will also include key aspects of process safety and optimisation.

Some of the duties will include (but are not limited to) :

* Leading Process Hazard Analysis as required.
* Generate quantitative risk analysis using either LOPA or Fault Tree for high risk items.
* Auditing all chemical operations for compliance to corporate plant safety standards
* Implementing best practice formaldehyde and resin process design changes to effect optimum processing costs, safety and reliability.
* Developing basic engineering calculations/design data and high level project cost estimates for process improvements.

This role will predominantly be site based, with around 10% of your time being spent travelling elsewhere around the UK.

Our client believe that, in order to be successful in this position, anyone applying for this role :

-Must have a University level qualification in Chemical Engineering (such as a BEng or equivalent)
-Should have a very strong knowledge of Process Safety Management. COMAH is essential, as is Bowtie & LOPA.

The ideal person for this role will have performed a similar job, ideally within a heavy duty engineering practice, such as Drinks manufacturing, Steel manufacturing or the Chemical production Industries.
