Stage 1 - Online Application
In order to confirm that you fit our requirements for a position with Dignity, we will firstly ask you a number of questions, your answers will determine if you progress to the next stage of our process. This stage should take you approximately 5 – 10 minutes to complete. You will receive an email from the recruitment team advising you of the outcome.
Stage 2 - Video Interview
This is the stage where you will meet a member of our recruitment team via a video Interview which will take up to 30 minutes. Please ensure you can access via your phone, tablet or PC. The team will ask you a number of questions to understand more about you and whether you fit the role profile of a Funeral Services Operative. At the end of the interview, we will also need to see your ID, e.g. your passport, this will confirm your Proof of Right to Work in the UK. If you are successful in joining the Dignity Team, a member of staff will also need to see this on day 1 for verification purposes. You will receive an email to confirm if you are successful.
Stage 3 - Video Chat
This is the final stage of the process, you will be introduced to a local member of the Dignity team who will have a further video chat with you to ensure they are happy you match the role profile and understand the role adequately. This stage of the process is usually conducted within one of the Dignity branches but for now, these will take place via video. Following this stage you will receive an email to confirm if you are successful and a member of the team will contact you to arrange for your start date and delivery of your Uniform. The team will arrange for you to attend an Induction which will likely be on-line and we will explain the finer details to you for your role to ensure it goes as smooth as possible.
