Customer Service Advisor - B2B Debt Resolution Team

E.ON supplies millions of people with gas and electricity every year, both in the home and at work. But when someone has trouble paying their bill, it's our customer service team who make sure everything gets back on track. This is your chance to join them.

About the role

As a Debt Resolution Advisor; you will be responsible for inbound and outbound calls to business customers to resolve outstanding arrears on their accounts. This will involve negotiating with the customer to set up a payment plan that is both acceptable for the business and achievable for the customer; whilst maintaining relationships to ensure they remain with the business as a valued customer. You will be required to use your initiative and actively promote the company's products and services to match a customer's particular needs and ensure a great customer service is delivered every time.

You'll initially join us on a temporary basis, but there may be the opportunity to become a permanent E.ON employee at a later date. There's a range of great benefits on offer too:

  • Initially the pay will be £17,200 pa pro-rata (£8.24 per hour) and after 12 weeks, your pay will automatically increase to £17,604 pa pro-rata (£9.15 per hour), with the chance for it to later rise to £20,432 pa pro-rata (£10.62 per hour).
  • You'll qualify for an annual bonus scheme.
  • You'll start with 28 days annual leave year, but after 12 weeks this will increase to 34 days (including bank holidays)
  • There's good transport links nearby, an onsite canteen serving hot and cold food, and a free drinks vending machine.


About you:

Ideally you'll have some previous experience working in a customer service and/or contact centre role. Naturally you'll also have great communication skills, and will be comfortable handing large volumes of calls professionally.

Our contact centre is open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday.
