Administrator - Support Services.

About the role:

This is a Fleet administration role based in Kingswinford where you will join a team responsible for the day-to-day management of our fleet of ~1700 vehicles.

You will be working on a variety of administrative tasks as required to support the day-to-day operations and to provide excellent customer service, to our technicians and drivers. You will need to be methodical, detail orientated and a team player that provides great customer service to our drivers.

Training will be based on site in Kingswinford initially, there may then be potential to work from home with occasional office visits when required.

Main Responsibilities

    • Manage the vehicle repair, maintenance bookings, and MOT process for our drivers
    • Keep a relentless focus on cost control whilst ensuring our fleet and drivers maintain on the road
    • Act as a focal point for our drivers, providing responses to their queries, directing / escalating these to the Lease companies or garages when required.
    • Ensure key tasks from management are completed against agreed timescales and escalate as appropriate
  • Assist in the integration of new processes and initiatives and deliver continual improvement.
  • Maintain and update records appropriately and identify any risks or faults.
  • Keep a personal diary of all follow up steps required to see jobs through to completion.

  • Identify areas for improvement in processes and behaviours to enable ongoing benefits, aligned with the culture of Operational Excellence.
  • Follow our HSSE processes to ensure our drivers safety

Key Skill Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed personal organisation skills encompassing a high degree of accuracy and good attention to detail
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Drive, enthusiasm, and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to exercise initiative, judgement and to make decisions within the scope of the role.
