Helpdesk Support Advisor

This position is based in (Kingswinford, DY6 8BN ) however, due to the current situation with Covid-19, we may require flexibility for you to work both at home and on site, any equipment needed for you to complete your role will be provided and we will be here to support you throughout this.

  • The pay will be £9.75 per hour.
  • You'll start with 28 days pro-rata annual leave year, but after 12 weeks this will increase to 34 days pro-rata (including bank holidays)

  • Hours of work: Full time, 37 hours between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday with occasional 9-5, 10-6 & 12-8 shifts and occasional Saturday working

About the role:

This is a Technical Helpdesk Advisor role on the Smart Technical Help Desk in Kingswinford.

You will be responsible for supporting the field based Smart Meter Technicians via phone calls, this includes troubleshooting issues with configuration of meters, smart meter scheming issues, etc. as well as providing back-office support (e.g. remote updates to smart meters, managing task lists, etc.)

You will be working on a variety of Administrative tasks as required to support the day to day operations and to provide excellent customer service, to both internal and external customers.

Our offices are open from 8am until 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am until 6pm on Saturdays. You will be expected to be flexible to work during these times

About you:

Ideally, you'll have some previous experience working in a customer service and administration. We're looking for someone with great communication and IT skills who will be comfortable with data entry and responding to customer queries via telephone and is confident investigating and resolving queries.
