About the role:

This is a Customer Service Advisor role in the contact centre in Kingswinford. You will be joining the Appointment Booking Team which is currently expanding to take and make calls to existing customers booking smart meter appointments. As a front-line advisor, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and delighting our customers, actively promoting the benefits of smart meters and giving useful energy advice.

You'll initially join us on a temporary basis, but there may be the opportunity to become a permanent employee later.

Initially the pay will be £10.14 per hour with the chance for it to later rise to £11.77 per hour dependant on your performance.

Mixture of home working and office working following on-site training. You will need to be able to get to site on a regular basis.

About you:

• Ideally, you will already have some previous experience working in a customer service and/or contact centre role.
• Naturally you will have great communication skills and will be comfortable handling a large amount of inbound and outbound calls each day.
• You will also have the ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional and empathetic manner.
• You are capable of processing and reacting to change in a proactive way in line with changing regulations.

This is a part time position where you will work 3:30pm - 7:30pm Monday - Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays - 20 hours per week.
