Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Manpower are currently recruiting for 3.5T Van Multi Drop Delivery Drivers for our client based in Gillingham, Kent.

FIXED TERM CONTRACT AVAILABLE 6 MONTHS

Mon - Sat £12.40 p/h paid break weekly pay!!!

This is temporary position, guaranteed work through out Christmas and potential into the New Year for the right candidate!

Working hours across Monday - Saturday with shifts available between 8am - 8pm

About the role

As a Multi Drop Delivery Driver, you would will be responsible for making timely deliveries and collections on a pre-planned route, ensuring all parcels are accounted for and first class customer service delivered every-time. You will be required to complete a local round from one of how many core routes in the East Kent area which covers ME, CT and TN postcodes

Full Training will be provided as you will be expected to complete around 50 - 80 deliveries a day and be prepared to work in all weather conditions weather come rain or shine. You will start your day by loading your provided 3.5T long wheel based vehicle and completing vehicle checks to ensure any problems are reported to management straight away. You will be required to use hand held scanners ensuring all tracking information is kept up to date so customers are able to view when their estimated time of delivery.

Our client delivers parcels up to 30Kg so heavy lifting will be required!

About you

Organised and efficient, you'll have a Full UK Manual Driving License and Experience in driving a 3.5T Long Wheel Base Mercedes Sprinter or similarly vehicle. In an ideal world your licence would be clean, but it definitely shouldn't have more than 6 penalty points. This role will involve repetitive lifting!
