Minibus Driver

Location: Barry, CF62 3BH

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary, with the possibility of it becoming a permanent position

Hours: Part time, 24 hours per week

Shifts: 6 pm - 6 am (nights). You will work a 2 on 6 off shift pattern across 7 days.

Pay Rate: £13.97 per hour

About the Role

Manpower is recruiting for a Minibus Driver on behalf of our client. This is a varied and customer focused role that combines driving duties, vehicle handling and customer service within a busy airport parking operation.

You will be responsible for transporting customers safely and efficiently between the parking facility and the airport, while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing a professional meet and greet service for customers and assisting with any enquiries
• Safely loading and unloading customer luggage onto the minibus
• Conducting vehicle checks before and after each journey and reporting any defects or issues
• Monitoring flight schedules and traffic conditions to ensure timely customer transfers
• Parking, retrieving and repositioning customer vehicles within the secure company compound and designated holding areas
• Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times

Essential Requirements

• D/D1 Category on the rear of your valid UK driving licence
• Minimum of 2 years' commercial driving experience
• Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
• Physically fit and able to walk several miles during a shift
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently
