Role: Senior Project Planner

Location: Bristol(2-3days/week)

Duration: 6 months

Inside IR35: Umbrella

The role is responsible for creating, managing and analysing portfolio-level schedules that combine bids, opportunities and strategic initiatives, providing resource-informed planning insights to support leadership decisions on prioritisation, scheduling, feasibility and sequencing.

Working within established planning frameworks and guidance, the role focuses on enabling informed decision-making through planning support, rather than taking ownership of delivery execution or contractual obligations.

Experience :

• Demonstrable experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls within a structured delivery environment
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated schedules with logical sequencing and clearly articulated assumptions
• Experience supporting bids, opportunities or early‑lifecycle planning activities, including schedule development for decision‑making
• Experience working with resource‑driven planning assumptions to support feasibility, prioritisation or utilisation forecasting
• Experience producing scenario‑based planning outputs, including what‑if analysis and option comparison
• Experience engaging with multi‑disciplinary stakeholders to gather planning inputs and communicate schedule implications clearly
• Experience operating within a matrix management environment, balancing functional standards with operational priorities
• Proficient in the use of planning tools such as P6 and MS Project
• APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent level of project planning knowledge
