Manpower is recruiting Cleaners on behalf of our Public Sector client to support a number of schools across the Bridgend County. These are temporary relief positions to cover staff absence and vacant posts during school term time only.

Main Duties

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained throughout the site
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Locations & Hours Available (Term Time only)

• YGG Bro Ogwr - 3.15 pm to 6.00 pm
• Tremains Primary - 3.15 pm to 5.45 pm
• Porthcawl Primary - 6.00 am to 8.00 am or 3.15 pm to 5.45 pm
• Pencoed Primary - 6.00 am to 8.00 am or 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm
• Cynffig Comprehensive - 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm
• Bryncethin Campus - 6.00 am to 8.00 am or 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Enhanced Child Barred DBS check is required before starting (Manpower covers the cost of this)
