Job Title - Telehandler Operator
Location - Perth (Transport will be available from a central pick up point)
Transport - Dundee
Hours - 4 on, 4 off (Night Shift Only, 6:00pm - 6:00am)
Pay Rate - £13.77 per hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to join our team at a recycling facility in Perth. This role involves operating a telehandler to move, load, and organise electrical equipment and materials safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in supporting site operations and ensuring materials are handled in line with company and environmental standards during night shifts. Transport will also be available from specific pick up points.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate a telehandler safely to move, load, and unload materials across the site
* Transport electrical equipment and waste materials to designated processing areas
* Assist with sorting and processing recyclable materials
* Load and feed materials into machinery and production lines
* Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
* Ensure safe stacking and storage of materials to maintain an organised yard
* Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements
* Valid Telehandler licence (essential)
* Previous experience operating a telehandler in a similar environment
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
* Strong awareness of surroundings and safe equipment operation
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
