What you'll be doing:
* Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) activities to verify products meet all specified requirements and standards.
* Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve non-conformances identified during FAI processes.
* Maintain accurate records of inspection results and prepare detailed reports for compliance and audits.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on manufacturing and quality issues.
* Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
* Assist in developing and reviewing inspection procedures and work instructions.
* Participate in internal and external audits related to quality assurance.
What you'll bring:
* Proven experience in First Article Inspection within aerospace, defence, or high-precision manufacturing sectors.
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
* Knowledge of standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace quality requirements.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify discrepancies.
* Proficiency with inspection tools including CMM, calipers, and micrometers.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Certifications like AS9102 FAI Certification are highly desirable.
* Ability to interpret technical data and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
