Job Responsibilities

Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch in accordance with customer and export requirements
Preparing and verifying dispatch documentation to ensure compliance with UK and import/export regulations
Utilising Oracle order management system to manage stock releases and generate necessary paperwork
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
Managing inventory and stock control to maintain accuracy and organisation
Collaborating with Customer Service and Sales teams to respond to queries and provide updates on order status
Constructing customised retail packs as required for specific shipments
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise warehouse operations
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with Health and Safety procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferable
Valid forklift truck licence is highly advantageous
Proficient in using IT systems; full training on in-house systems will be provided
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and additional tasks
Proactive approach with the ability to suggest and implement process improvements
High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Experience with import and export shipping processes is beneficial
Skill Labouring experience is desirable, demonstrating physical fitness and manual dexterity
