Temporary - Explore!

Manpower partners with clients that are looking for contracted employees who are open to working short-term contract durations. This falls under our temporary category. Typically, clients utilise this option to cover employee absences, support peak workloads or contribute to special projects for a specific time frame. As a temporary worker, you are employed through Manpower and placed on assignment at our client’s worksite. When one assignment is done, you can move to another, which could be at the same or a different client.

This is a great option to:

  • Earn money while you continue your job search
  • Develop new talents by challenging yourself in new roles.

Temp-to-perm - Try it and decide!

As a temp-to-perm employee, both you and our client can test out the role and responsibilities to see if it’s a match. With your ability to see firsthand what the job entails, the resources and access to the people you would be working with, this is a great way to understand if a role is right for you. After working as a Manpower associate for the agreed timeframe, and if the client agrees there is a match, there will be an opportunity to become a permanent employee with our client working for them directly.

  • Improve your chances of being hired for a permanent position
  • Expand your capabilities by getting training while you work.

Permanent - Straight to the client!

Don’t want to do contract work? No problem! Manpower also offers permanent opportunities. A permanent opportunity is direct employment with our client, meaning you will not be a Manpower employee but an employee of the client you are selected for. Manpower conducts the pre-screening processes as well as interviews. If everything goes well and you are selected, an offer to work for the client as an employee directly will be extended.

Does Manpower continue to support me after I start a job?

Yes. As a Manpower associate, we are committed to helping you succeed. While your supervisor at the work site is your resource for daily work-related questions, Manpower is your employer and is available to support you if you have any questions or concerns that are HR-related. If you've been hired for a permanent position through Manpower, we'll support you while you transition into your job with your new employer.

What do I need to do after I submit my CV or apply for a job?

Manpower's highest priority is to find a job for you. If your skills are a match for our client's job needs, a Manpower representative will contact you about next steps. In the meantime, you can continue to search the latest job openings by using the search bar at the top of this page. If there's any update on your experience, contact information, job seeking intention, etc, please update your profile so we have the most current information and can place you on the most suitable assignments.

What do I do when I finish an assignment?

Your Manpower representative will be aware of your status and will continuously work to place you on new assignments. Please let us know if there is any change in your availability and remember to update your profile to include your recent job experience and any new skills you've gained.
