Fleet Technician
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £35,863 - £39,691 + £4,000 Golden Hello
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Join our Transport Repair Unit team supporting frontline council services! Work in a small, skilled workshop team maintaining and repairing council vehicles and plant equipment. This is a hands-on role involving vehicle inspection, servicing, MOT preparation, diagnostics, and repairs across the council fleet.
About the role:

• 
  Maintain and repair a variety of council vehicles and plant equipment
• 
  Conduct inspections, servicing, and MOT preparation
• 
  Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues
• 
  Work independently and as part of a close-knit team

What we're looking for:

• 
  Automotive qualification Level 3 in Heavy or Light Vehicles
• 
  Strong technical and diagnostic skills
• 
  Good customer care, communication, and ICT skills
•
