About the Role
We're hiring a Connected Vehicle Validation Engineer to support the testing and validation of cutting-edge connected car and telematics systems. This is a hands-on role working across vehicle systems, mobile apps, and wearable technology, ideal for a junior or mid-level engineer looking to grow in automotive validation.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end validation testing of connected vehicle features
• Test connected services via mobile apps and smart devices
• Raise and manage incident tickets through to resolution
• Conduct root cause analysis and fault investigation
• Ensure vehicle-level quality, functionality, and reliability
• Prepare test environments and validation resources
• Support data analysis and test automation using Python

Skills & Experience

• Experience in validation, testing, or automotive engineering (desirable)
• Knowledge of Python (data analysis, scripting, or automation)
• Understanding of validation processes / test methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong communication skills

Requirements

• Full UK or EU driving licence (essential)
• Willingness to travel internationally (short-term trips)
• Flexible approach to hybrid working (Cranfield site attendance required)
