Job Description: Groundworks / Bricklaying Contractor

We are seeking an experienced all-round contractor to carry out drainage and structural alteration works within a factory environment.

Scope of Works:

• Installation of a concrete lintel.
• Forming a breach in an existing block wall.
• Formation of a new drainage channel connecting into existing site drainage.
• Breaking out and excavating a section of the factory floor.
• Creating a 1.2m x 1.2m opening through the concrete slab to facilitate tunnelling and associated groundworks.
• Making good the wall with blockwork to a professional finish.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in bricklaying, groundworks, and concrete works.
• Experience of grinding machinery essential.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
• Strong understanding of health and safety on site.

Duration & Start Date:

• Works are scheduled to commence early next week.
• Estimated duration is approximately two weeks.
