Manpower is currently recruiting 4 experienced Class 2 (Category C) Refuse Collection Drivers for long-term, ongoing assignments with a well-established client in Sheffield, S4 area

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable drivers looking for consistent, full-time hours in a stable and essential service role.

• Start Date: Immediate starts available
• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (no weekends required as standard)
• Hours: 6:30am - 3:30pm
• Type: Ongoing / long-term assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle on designated refuse and recycling routes
• Carrying out domestic and commercial waste collections
• Working closely with the collection crew to ensure efficient operations
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Providing a professional and courteous service at all times

Pay Rates

We offer competitive pay with enhanced overtime options:

• Standard Rate: £16.07 per hour
• Overtime (Mon-Sat): £24.10 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £32.14 per hour

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• A valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles (preferred but not essential)
• A strong work ethic, with reliability and punctuality
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Awareness of health & safety and road traffic regulations
