Job Title: General Operative
Location: Perth
Hours: 48 hours per week (Dayshift and Nightshift available, weekend work may be required)
Pay Rate: £13.27 per hour (Additional 50p per hour on Nightshift)

Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Operatives to join our team at a recycling facility in Perth. This role involves handling and preparing electrical equipment for further disposal in a safe and efficient manner. The position offers both day and night shifts, with flexibility required for weekend working.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Sorting and processing electrical equipment for recycling and disposal
• 
  Preparing items in line with company and environmental regulations
• 
  Machine operations (training will be provided)
• 
  Carrying out quality control checks
• 
  Dismantling and processing electronic equipment
• 
  Safely handling a variety of electrical goods and materials
• 
  Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• 
  Following all health and safety procedures at all times
• 
  Supporting team members and supervisors with general site duties

Requirements:

• 
  Ability to work 48 hours per week, including weekends when required
• 
  Willingness to work either day or night shifts
• 
  Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• 
  Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• 
  Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to recycling
• 
  Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
