Store-person - Southampton

Monday to Friday

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40-hour week. 0800hrs to 1700hrs

Company benefits, sociable hours + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and overtime paid at time and a half.

ROLE
To assist with the goods receiving, safe storage and issue of materials to operatives.

Due to location, own transport essential

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Receipt of and checking goods in, ensuring delivered in good condition
Off load vehicles using mechanical handling equipment
Organise, sort and manage stock levels
Chase late delivery/missing goods
Maintain stock records and stock take
Supply materials to General Operatives as required
Ensure goods are stored in a safe and acceptable manner
General stores duties including maintaining a clean and tidy workplace

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Good attitude
Willingness to learn new skills
Previous stores experience is an advantage
Forklift experience an advantage (training can be given)
