Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance Forklift Licence Required)

Contract: Temporary - minimum 1 month
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm

Manpower is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join our client based in Cramlington. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently

• Load and unload vehicles

• Rack and stack goods in designated areas

• Locate materials using the SAP computer system

• Perform physical stock counts

• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across all warehouse, drum park, solvent storage and external areas

• Follow all warehouse and related Standard Operating Procedures

• Adhere to all HSE requirements, including reporting procedures

• Wear appropriate PPE at all times

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment

  • Experience within pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing is advantageous

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines

• Basic understanding of COSHH and manual handling regulations
