Industrial Electrician


Location: Billingham, Middlesborough
Contract: Temporary / Contract
Duration: 12 weeks
Rate: Competitive
We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our client's team on a temporary basis, supporting ongoing maintenance and installation work within an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on industrial electrical systems
  • Working on machinery, control panels, motors, and power distribution
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
  • Ensuring all work complies with current health & safety regulations
  • Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • ECS/CSCS card preferred
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Industrial or manufacturing site experience essential

Desirable

  • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • IPAF or other relevant site certifications
  • Experience with PLCs or automation systems
