Job Title: Fabricator
Location: Hinkley Point C (HPC), Somerset

Job Purpose:
To carry out fabrication activities safely and to the required quality standards in support of construction works at Hinkley Point C.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and assemble metal components in line with drawings and specifications.
• Mark out, cut, shape, and fit materials as required.
• Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication details.
• Ensure all work meets required quality and safety standards.
• Carry out basic checks on tools and equipment before use.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Relevant fabrication or plating qualifications/experience.
• Previous site or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Understanding of health & safety on site.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.

Desirable:

• Experience on large infrastructure or industrial projects.

• Experience working in highly regulated environments.
