Overview

An established UK-based organisation delivering technical and engineering-led services across construction, infrastructure, and the built environment is seeking a Site Engineer to join its geo-technical team. Operating nationwide, the business supports a wide range of projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, and practical delivery on site.

This is a fully site-based role, ideal for a Site Engineer with 6 to 12 months' experience who is looking to develop hands-on skills within site investigations and civil engineering works, working closely with experienced engineers on live projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the delivery of site investigations and day-to-day site operations

  • Support senior engineers with planning, organisation, and supervision of site activities

  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

  • Maintain clear communication with office-based teams and site management

  • Contribute to site records, reporting, monitoring, and technical documentation

Skills & Experience Required

  • 6 to 12 months' experience in a site engineering or site investigation role

  • Degree-qualified in Earth Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Basic understanding of site engineering practices and project delivery

  • Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental compliance

  • Well organised, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a site team
