Painter & Decorator - Job Opportunity


A great opportunity has arisen for an on?site Painter & Decorator based in the Stocken area.
This is a full?time role working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The position also includes working 1 in every 3 weekends, with an additional 15% allowance added to the basic salary for weekend work.
Salary: £26,487 - £32,493, depending on experience.


Role Overview


The Painter & Decorator will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive painting and decorating tasks across a busy facilities environment. This position ensures work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, supporting the overall maintenance and appearance of the site.
The role also contributes to wider environmental objectives, including supporting zero?carbon initiatives where appropriate.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned and reactive painting and decorating tasks across various areas
  • Looking after tools, materials and equipment, ensuring they are well maintained
  • Following all Health & Safety policies, instructions and procedures
  • Supporting zero?carbon and sustainability programmes as required
  • Ensuring high standards of Health & Safety across the contract

Candidate Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating, or equivalent
  • Relevant hands?on experience in a similar role
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety, including risk assessments and method statements
  • The ability to work effectively within a busy facilities environment
