Job Title: Press Operator

Pay Rate: £20.36 per hour (PAYE)
Contract Duration: 9 months
Location: Coventry

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Press Operator to support manufacturing operations in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of machinery, carrying out quality checks, and accurately recording production data while working to written instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and work flexibly across multiple machines, including:

  • Press Dimple

  • Bending

  • Brazing

  • Cropping

  • Cutting

  • Straightener

  • Extrusion Press

• Inspect, measure, and verify own work to ensure it meets required quality standards

• Follow simple written work instructions and procedures

• Accurately record production and quality data as required

• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment at all times

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven ability to work across multiple manufacturing or press-based machines

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-inspect work

• Basic numeracy skills, including the ability to add and subtract whole numbers, decimals, and fractions

• Ability to read and understand simple written instructions

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently when required
