About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance & Health and Safety Engineer to join the team based in the Bristol area.
Reporting into the local Quality Manager, this role plays a key part in maintaining EN9100 compliance, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and acting as the primary Health & Safety focal point on site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Quality Manager with EN9100 compliance and QMS activities
- Investigating quality issues using tools such as 8D and root cause analysis
- Supporting internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits
- Managing document control, supplier quality support and improvement actions
- Leading site Health & Safety activities, including risk assessments and inspections
What you'll need
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Quality or Assurance role
- Working knowledge of EN9100, 8D problem solving and FMECA
- Formal internal auditing experience (qualification preferred)
- Practical Health & Safety experience, including risk assessments and incident reporting
- HNC, degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong digital skills with the ability to produce structured reports and documentation
