Job Title: Welder
Location: Hinkley Point C (HPC), Somerset

Job Purpose:
To carry out welding activities safely and to the required quality standards in support of construction works at Hinkley Point C.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks in line with approved procedures (WPS).

• Read and follow engineering drawings and specifications.

• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

• Carry out basic checks on equipment before use.

• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

• Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

• Relevant welding qualifications (e.g. FCAW)

• Previous site or construction experience preferred.

• Understanding of health & safety on site.

• Worked on HPC before with a BPSS

Desirable:

• Experience on large infrastructure or industrial projects.

• Experience working in highly regulated environments.
