Park Maintenance Operative
Pay Rate: £14.80
Location: Merton
Hours: 9am - 5pm alternating shifts Mon - Sun
Start Date: July 15^th 2025

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our national client for candidates to join their Outdoor Maintenance team.

The role will include general maintenance of the paddling pools and surrounding areas. You will be required to fill the paddling pools in the morning, checking and emptying the pools at the end of your shift. You will also be required to maintain the upkeep of the area surrounding the paddling pools, emptying bins, checking the toilets and litter picking.

You will need to ensure a safe working environment is always maintained and carry out day to day maintenance and checks on all equipment as well as required paperwork.

The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice.

This is a 7 week assignment as it is a seasonal position.

To succeed, you will need:

• Experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance role is desirable.
• UK Driving Licence is preferred however not essential.
• Previous experience within a public setting is preferred however not essential.
• To be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn & open to training.
• Safety conscious mindset is key.
