Drilling Machine Operative - Night Shift

We are recruiting for a Drilling Machine Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves operating drilling machinery, working from basic engineering drawings, and ensuring all work is completed to quality standards.
Duties include loading and unloading materials, monitoring machine performance, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace in line with company procedures.
Previous machine operating experience is essential, however full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity to develop within engineering.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6pm - 6am (12-hour shifts)

Requirements

• Previous machine or production experience
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work night shifts
• Read basic engineering drawings
• Operate and keep an eye on drilling machines
• Load and unload materials as needed
• Remove and dispose of scrap safely
• Take part in training when required
• Follow all site rules and safety procedures
• Help out with other duties when needed
• Keep the work area clean and tidy
