Material Handler
Location: Heysham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00
Pay: £12.65 per hour

You will support warehouse operations by picking, packing, and preparing UK and export shipments. The role requires good attention to detail, following instructions carefully, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Main Duties

• Pick UK and export orders using pick lists.
• Pack and label items correctly according to instructions and regulations.
• Help prepare and load export shipments, ensuring paperwork is completed.
• Use courier systems and access MSDS information when needed.
• Keep consumables stocked and follow procedures for ordering more.
• Operate equipment once trained and report any faults.
• Keep records and paperwork up to date.
• Follow site security, health & safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Take part in 5S/Lean/Continuous Improvement activities.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested.

Key Skills

1. Strong attention to detail
