Packing Associate
Location: Dartford
Shifts: Monday to Thursday 08:15 - 17:00, Friday 08:15 - 15:00
Pay Rate: £13.46 (3 month Temp, with the possibility of extension)



We are looking for a Packing Associate to support the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking, packing, loading shipments, managing goods in and out, maintaining stock accuracy, and assisting the Warehouse & Logistics Manager with general warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare shipments for dispatch.
  • Load and unload deliveries safely.
  • Manage goods-in and goods-out activities.
  • Maintain warehouse filing and documentation systems.
  • Organise and maintain finished product and component storage areas.
  • Ensure all materials are stored correctly and safely.
  • Carry out internal movement and relocation of finished products.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
  • Operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and effectively.
  • Generate shipping documentation, including invoices and Certificates of Origin (CoO).
  • Conduct GTC screening checks for visitors, customers, and orders.
  • Perform routine forklift maintenance checks.
  • Support other areas of the department as required.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping at all times.

Skills & Experience
Essential

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures.

Desirable

  • Basic GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) knowledge.
  • Experience operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks.
  • Experience with shipping documentation and inventory control.
