Plant Services Operator
Location: Stowmarket
Pay Rate: £15.40

Role
* To clean all the plant used in the manufacture of solvent and waterborne paint to set quality & safety targets, by hand and using a mechanical cleaner.
* To segregate and dispose of all waste to environmental and safety standards.

* Must have or be able to obtain a Forklift license during Probationary Period.

Specific to Area:
* Operate the Pan Cleaner to clean pans from production.
* Clean Mixing tanks by hand
* Pump dirty solvent from Services building to tank farm.
* Load dirty solvent from tank farm & Balfour Still sludge tank to road tanker
* Unload clean solvent from road tanker to Balfour Still
* Support the running and monitor of the Balfour Still.
* Ability to learn to drive Forklift truck.
* Wrapping aluminium Kegs for waste disposal.
* Changing valves on pans where required.
* Dropping dirty solvent tanks into portable containers to assist with maintaining waste stream management.
