A great manufacturing client of Manpower Group is seeking dedicated full-time Production Assemblers to join our team for an initial 90-day assignment (with good chances of extension or permanent employment thereafter).
This role involves the assembly of breath alcohol detection devices and includes tasks such as through-hole soldering, creating small pre-assemblies, and adding customer-specific software and configurations. The role may also include supporting assembly tasks in the Fuel Cell Laboratory. Individuals with a strong interest in electronics are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble breath alcohol detection devices with precision.
- Perform through-hole and SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) soldering.
- Utilise and maintain adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Record manufacturing data, including quantities and time entries, via the Epicor ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
- Support stock management and handle inventory transactions.
- Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Background in manufacturing, preferably in electronics.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret SOPs and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) /ERP systems and inventory management.
- Soldering experience (Required).
- Software Skills: Competent in PC operations, Excel, Microsoft word.
- Attributes:
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Good vision as the assembly process contains very small parts.
- Excellent time management and teamwork abilities.
- Strong communication and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to meet project deadlines.
