3 x Production Operative - Precast Concrete

Location: Ballymena

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday - 5:30am - 2:30pm or 6:00am - 3:00pm

40 hours per week

Overtime and occasional Saturday work available


About the Role

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy and growing production team within the precast concrete and agricultural sector. Both permanent and temporary opportunities are available.

This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with experience in a production, manufacturing, joinery, construction, or agricultural environment. Due to the nature of the work, applicants must have an understanding of working within heavy industry and be comfortable in a physically demanding production setting.

As part of the team, you will assist in the manufacturing of high-quality precast concrete products used in construction and award-winning projects across the UK and Ireland.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare moulds and assist with the pouring and production of precast concrete products
  • Operate as part of the production team to meet daily production targets and schedules
  • Use hand tools, air tools, and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness within the production area
  • Complete production records and communicate progress with Team Leaders
  • Follow all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures
  • Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
  • Work flexibly across different production areas as required

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, joinery, construction, or agricultural environment
  • Knowledge or understanding of heavy industry, concrete production, or similar sectors
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Flexible with working hours and overtime requirements
  • Ability to carry out manual and physical work
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English

Desirable

  • Experience within precast concrete or civil engineering projects
  • Ability to read technical or construction drawings
  • Experience using hand, air, or power tools
  • Counterbalance Forklift or Overhead Crane licence
  • CSR Card, First Aid, or Fire Warden training
