Production Specialist (Contract)

Duration: 6 months

Rate: Up tp £45/hour - Umbrella

Our client seeks a skilled Production Specialist for contract work building helicopter rotor trackers, aircraft cables, and engine monitoring units at their Chandlers Ford facility. Focus: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand soldering, crimping, PCB assembly per specs/drawings

• Test/inspect products to BoM standards

• Fault finding, rework/repair on PCBs

• Goods inspection, continuous improvement input

• Team collaboration and efficient operations

Essential Skills (2+ years):

• Electro-mechanical assembly (soldering, wiring, crimping)

• Read schematics, wire diagrams, BoMs

• Identify electronic components (resistors etc)

• ESD procedures, basic PC skills (Word, Teams etc)

• Excellent manual dexterity

Desirable: IPC610/620 certs, conformal coating, PCB repair, NVQ L3 Electrical Eng, QC experience
