Dispatch Shift Supervisor / Team Leader

Salary: £14.00 per hour
Shifts: Weekly rotation

  6:00am - 2:00pm
• 
  2:00pm - 10:00pm

Role Overview

We are recruiting permanent Dispatch Shift Supervisors / Team Leaders for one of our clients in Grimsby. This is a hands-on role combining dispatch supervision, forklift operation, administration, and physical warehouse work. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are prepared, loaded, and dispatched accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Preparing pallets for dispatch
• 
  Allocating and booking consignments onto the shipping network
• 
  Loading and unloading vehicles
• 
  Strapping, securing, and checking pallets
• 
  Recording dispatch data accurately (dates, quantities, destinations)
• 
  Completing dispatch paperwork and system administration
• 
  Supervising and supporting the dispatch team during the shift
• 
  Assisting with production work during quieter periods
• 
  Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• 
  Valid FLT Counterbalance (B) licence - essential
• 
  Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or team leader/supervisory role
• 
  Comfortable with physical work, including manual handling
• 
  Strong organisational and communication skills
• 
  Confident with basic admin and record-keeping
• 
  Reliable, flexible, and able to work rotating shifts
