Warehouse / Workshop Supervisor
Location: Stone Business Park, Emerald Way, Stone, ST15 0SR
Pay Rate: £16.41 - £18.46 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm
Assignment Type: Ongoing, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role after 12 weeks
About the Role
Manpower is recruiting a Warehouse / Workshop Supervisor to support operations for The Magnum Ice Cream Company in Stone.
This is a key leadership role within a busy workshop environment, where you will oversee the refurbishment and movement of refrigeration cabinets, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across goods receipt, storage, and dispatch. You will also supervise a small team of operators, driving productivity and maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the tracking and movement of refrigeration cabinets
• Manage goods-in, delivery receipt, and dispatch processes
• Supervise and support a team of 4 workshop operators
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Maintain accurate stock records using Excel and/or warehouse systems
• Monitor workflow and ensure deadlines and targets are met
• Promote a positive and organised working environment

Candidate Requirements
To be considered, you should meet the following minimum criteria:

• Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach) - in-date (external or in-house from a reputable company)
• Previous experience in a warehouse or workshop supervisory role
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and/or warehouse inventory systems
• Ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks effectively
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
