Part-Time Purchasing Administrator (Temporary - 3 Months)
Location: Begbroke, Oxford, UK
Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.35 - £15.35 per hour

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Part-Time Purchasing Administrator to join their team on an initial 3-month temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchasing or administration professional to contribute to a busy and fast-paced production environment.
Reporting directly to the Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting production operations by ensuring the timely availability of materials through effective purchase order management and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review the purchase order book to ensure materials are available to meet production demands
  • Proactively liaise with suppliers to progress outstanding purchase orders and update internal systems
  • Confirm material availability for new product prototype work orders
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Approximately 3 years' experience within a purchasing or supply chain environment
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems
  • Highly organised with a results-driven mindset and the ability to use initiative
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Proven ability to deliver in a challenging commercial environment
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and ethical working practices
