Location: Nottingham, office-based with opportunity for hybrid
Salary: Up to £35,000 dependent on experience + car allowance
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday (+ weekend rota during winter season - 1 day, 3 out of 4 weekends)

About the role

Working with the UK's Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping provider, we are in search of an experienced Contracts Manager to lead our high-profile contract based in Nottingham. In this pivotal role, we're looking for an experienced and proactive Contract Manager to lead and coordinate winter maintenance activities across the Midlands and Northern regions. This role is central to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery during the winter season. You'll oversee a network of subcontractors, manage operational performance, and ensure all contractual, safety, and service standards are consistently met.

Requirements

* Proven experience in operations management, ideally within winter maintenance, facilities management, highways, or a similar field.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing subcontractors or dispersed teams.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, especially under time pressure or during adverse weather conditions.
* Good understanding of health and safety requirements and operational compliance.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands and North.
