Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver (Counterbalance & Reach)

Location: Team Valley, Gateshead
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives with valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licences for an established distribution warehouse based in Team Valley, Gateshead.
This is a temporary ongoing position with no fixed end date, offering the opportunity to become temp-to-perm for the right candidate.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am - 4:30pm
• £13.50 per hour
• Weekend overtime available and paid at time and a half

Duties

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Moving stock around the warehouse and replenishing picking locations.
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
• General warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Working as part of a busy team to meet daily targets.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
• Valid Reach FLT licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse experience.
• A flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Good attention to detail and a strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
