At Manpower UK, we recognise the important role trade unions play in representing and supporting workers. We are committed to maintaining constructive, professional and respectful relationships with trade unions and their representatives.

As a workforce solutions business, many of our associates (agency workers) work on assignments at client premises rather than at Manpower UK locations. Where workers are based on client premises, access arrangements may require coordination with, and agreement from, the relevant client. Requests will be considered in accordance with applicable legislation and the circumstances of the workplace concerned.

Requesting Access to Workers

Trade unions seeking access to workplaces and workers supplied by Manpower UK, or seeking to communicate with workers they represent or seek to represent, should submit a written request including:

  • Trade union name
  • Representative name and contact details
  • Workplace/client location
  • Purpose of the visit or access request
  • Proposed date and time(s)
  • Any relevant statutory information supporting the request

How to Submit a Request

Please send all trade union access requests to: [email protected]

We will review requests promptly and, where necessary, work with the relevant client to agree appropriate arrangements that balance legal requirements, workplace operations, health and safety, and the rights of workers.

Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Respecting workers’ rights and all applicable trade union legislation.
  • Engaging with trade union representatives professionally and in good faith.
  • Facilitating lawful trade union activities where reasonably practicable.
  • Working collaboratively with clients where workers are based on client premises.
  • Considering access requests fairly, consistently and transparently.
