Job Title: HSEQ Coordinator - Temporary, potential for Perm
Location: Southampton
Pay: £14.36 per hour (£28,000)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established global logistics and transport business with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence. The company operates within international shipping and terminal operations, supporting a busy and fast-paced environment.

The role is for a Temporary HSEQ Coordinator to support the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality function across site. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who is well organised, proactive, and confident handling administration, compliance tasks, and reporting. This role is temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

Working closely with the HSEQ team, you will support audits, inspections, record keeping, and day-to-day coordination of HSEQ processes. You will help maintain accurate documentation, assist with reporting, and ensure standards are upheld in line with company procedures and relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the HSEQ team with daily administrative and compliance duties.

  • Assisting with internal and external audits, inspections, and reporting.

  • Maintaining records, spreadsheets, and documentation accurately.

  • Helping ensure procedures, standards, and processes remain up to date.

  • Liaising with internal teams and external contacts as required.

  • Supporting site visits where needed.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong administration and organisational skills.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A proactive approach and excellent attention to detail.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Previous HSEQ, health and safety, or quality experience would be an advantage.

  • Own transport is ideal for site visits, but it is not essential.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real contribution to site compliance and safety standards while developing your experience within HSEQ.
