Job Role - Import Operations/Customer Service Operative
Hours - Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00
Location - Liverpool
Pay - £30,000 dependant on experience

Job Description

  • Handle day to day freight forwarding operations (import/export - air, sea, and/or road)
  • Liaise with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to arrange and manage shipments.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customers clearance
  • Monitor shipments and update customers on status and delivery timelines
  • Resolve operational issues proactively and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records using internal systems

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Previous experience within logistics
  • Previous experience within freight forwarding
