HGV Mechanic - Belfast

Fleet Transport Workshop

We are recruiting a HGV Mechanic to join an internal fleet workshop team, working across a range of HGV Trucks & Trailers

Based at their fleet workshop in Belfast, you'll join a team of HGV Mechanics to carry out mechanical repairs, servicing and maintenance across a range of Trucks and Trailers.

On offer is a competitive salary package at over £41k

Working hours consist of early and late shift rotations Monday to Friday: 7am - 3.30pm & 1pm - 9.30pm

Suitable candidates will be Level 3 qualified in HGV/ Vehicle Repair with mechanical experience on HGV & Commercial Vehicles.

The Role

• Mechanical repairs on vehicles, trucks and trailers to a high standard
• Vehicle inspections, servicing and diagnosing faults
• Work with supervisor/ foreman to keep on top of work schedules
• Work in a safe and effective manner
• Record job cards or paperwork following correct procedures

What we are looking for

• Level 3 Vehicle Repair, preferably in HGV Repair
• Mechanical experience on Trucks, Trailers & HGV's
• Preferably HGV C+E license, but not essential
• Good communicator and can be a team player
