Our client is looking for Recycling Operative to support operations at their Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire Household Waste Recycling Centres.

Your Role

As a Recycling Operative, you'll be responsible for:
✅ Assisting members of the public in sorting waste and recyclable materials.
✅ Providing guidance on correct recycling procedures.
✅ Keeping the site clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety regulations.
✅ Using basic IT systems (tablet-based) for site reporting.
✅ Learning other areas of the business, with opportunities to upskill.

What We're Looking For

🔹 Excellent communication skills-you'll be supporting the public, so a friendly and helpful approach is essential.
🔹 A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
🔹 Basic IT skills for logging information on-site.
🔹 A proactive approach to health & safety.
🔹 Ability to work outside in all elements, as this role will require working outdoors.
🔹 Availability to work from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
🔹 Flexibility to work some weekend overtime shifts, depending on the needs of the business.
